Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online store via our website (www.adambikes.co.uk) or our pages on eBay, Gumtree and AutoTrader. When you have finished browsing and found a bike of your choosing, please contact us using the details on the contact us page to place an order, or simply add the bike of your choosing to the cart and proceed to checkout. When making a purchase through our website, eBay, Gumtree or AutoTrader, the customer is agreeing to the Terms and Conditions detailed on this page. Please see below the steps to making a purchase:
Online Purchases (via Website)
1. Browse our wide variety of bikes and ensure you view the details and the associated walkaround video
2. Add the bike to your cart and proceed to checkout
3. At checkout, select your preference for delivery or collection and provide a preferred day of your choosing for your bike to be delivered/collected (we will try our best to accommodate to the day of your choosing)
4. Proceed to payment, sit back, and relax
5. Within 24 hours, one of our friendly Sales Team will be in touch to confirm the delivery/collection day and will also confirm the deliver fee (if applicable)
6. On delivery, the outstanding delivery fee will be due. If collection was selected, no further charges will be applied.
Online Purchases (via eBay, Gumtree or AutoTrader)
1. Contact us with your preferred bike, and we will have a detailed walkaround video sent to you
2. Inform us if you would like delivery, using your full postcode we will provide you with a quote
3. Should you prefer collecting the bike from the showroom, a booking will need to be made
4. A deposit of £100 will need to be made to reserve the bike for two weeks (if the delivery quote is above £100, i.e. £140, the deposit required will be £140)
5. Once the deposit has been made, we will work to schedule your delivery within 3–5 days, or on a day that suits you best
Purchases in Person
1. Once you have found your preferred bike, a booking will need to be made to view the bike in the showroom
2. If you are collecting the bike on the same day, the full amount will be due
3. If you are returning for collection on another day, a £100 deposit will be payable to reserve the bike for 2 weeks and the outstanding amount will be due on collection (prior booking required)
Payment
We accept payments via a bank transfer or cash. We now also take card payments and accept Visa and Mastercard.
Online Purchases
Once an order has been placed for a bike requiring delivery, and the deposit has been paid, our Sales Team will work to schedule your delivery as soon as possible. On delivery of the bike, it is the responsibility of the customer to check the bike in person all around and ensure that everything is working to their satisfaction. Should the bike not meet the customer’s standards, the bike will be returned to AdamBikes by our driver and the deposit will not be refundable.
If the bike is satisfactory, the outstanding amount will then be due.
Finance Purchases
We work closely with leading motor finance companies and can work to get a finance deal that suits your needs. Once you have found a bike you would like us to submit a finance application for, please contact us with your full name and email address, we will then submit the application through and the finance company will be in touch via email with a quote.
AdamBikes is the trading name of Almass Bikes Ltd, which is registered in England and Wales (Company Registration number 09883972). Authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (number 917958). Almass Bikes Ltd is a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a limited number of finance lenders and for such introductions we will receive commission. The commission payment can be either a fixed fee or a fixed percentage of the amount you borrow. The lenders we work with could pay commission at different rates. The commission we receive will not affect the amount you repay under the credit agreement. All finance is subject to status. Terms and conditions apply. Applicants must be 18 years or over. Finance Processing Time
With most applications, we expect that you will be given an acceptance or decline decision within 1 business day, subject to you completing the initial application and provided all the required documentation.
Delivery on Finance Orders
Once a finance application has been approved, you will be contacted and asked if you still wish to proceed with the finance. On confirmation, AdamBikes will sign the finance agreement, which will then be sent to you via email for review and signing.
Once the agreement is signed, we will await pay-out (typically processed within 1–2 hours) before being able to deliver the bike or allow collection.
Declined Finance Orders
If, for any reason, a finance application is declined, we will work to submit your application via a secondary finance company, at your agreement.
Warranty
AdamBikes provides a 30-day warranty to cover mechanical issues such as engine or gearbox defects. Please note, having mechanical work carried out on a bike purchased from us within the warranty period prior to discussing this with our Customer Services Team, will void all warranties. A 6-month warranty can also be purchased at an additional cost of £250. Please contact us for further details.
If you experience any issues post sale, please contact AdamBikes directly immediately
On raising a complaint, AdamBikes will request a picture of the current mileage on the bike to allow further escalation
AdamBikes will aim to provide a resolution(s) as soon as possible, but no later than 5 working days
AdamBikes will be liable to carry out any mechanical repairs that may be required whilst the bike is under warranty
A repair option is always provided as a first resolution and if repairs are not possible, AdamBikes will offer a full refund subject to circumstantial variables
Where a bike is purchased online (initially delivered to customer), the refund option would not include initial delivery cost, and any applicable collection costs
Where a bike was purchased in-store, the bike would need to be bought back to the store for any repairs to be conducted under warranty. If not possible, collection charges would apply
For online purchases, on delivery of the bike, customers will have a chance and are strongly advised to check the bike once it arrives.
Note: AdamBikes’ warranty policy recently changed. The above policy is effective from 15/10/2024. AdamBikes will honour the previous warranty policy for any purchases made prior to this date.
Privacy Policy
To process your order, we require your name, billing/delivery address, phone number and email address.
AdamBikes does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when finance applications are requested by customers.
Data collected by this site is used to:
• Take and fulfil customer orders
• Administer and enhance the site and service
• Disclose information to third-parties only for bikes delivery purposes or finance applications
Returns Policy
AdamBikes has a simple, but comprehensive 30-day returns policy for bikes with mechanical defects as stated in our Warranty section. This means that most queries can be resolved quickly and easily. For issues that cannot be resolved immediately, we will respond within 5 working days, either resolving your complaint or with an expected timescale for resolution of the issue.
